In Medias res or Medias in res (into the middle of things) is a Latin phrase denoting the literary and
artistic narrative technique wherein the relation of a story begins at the mid-point.
But it can be also interpreted as “the reality is in media” as a media we mean every tool of interaction with
the reality, which can be the human body as like as the social network.
Therefore...
Do you know how many hours you spend in social network every day?? Did you never try to calculate that?
What does it means “keep in touch” for you?
Lack of personalities and the progressive devolution of human physical contact are the main results of an
abusing of social network.
Basically this matter lead the people to get in touch without touching, alienating yourself
in a progressive attitude which is "connected to be split", that sound weird but it is like that…
We are not here to say social network is good or bad, there are just different points of view and as point of
view we want make people to realize that.
In order to get people in the “real touch” we launched an information and awareness campaign concerning
the abuse of social network, focusing on non-professional regular costumers.
The campaign has been developed using three different social actions.
The first one is an external theatrical performance placed in Hermannplatz in Berlin; the action is aimed to
show the alienation that can be provoked from abusing of social network.
The others two actions are aimed to diffuse the message around the city before the publishing of the
magazine through the spreading of stencil images and web hacking of the logo campaign, in order to get
the publication louder.
